Ninject 1.5 and 2.0 Released!

by Ian Davis on February 25, 2010

in Announcement

That’s right! We have officially released Ninject 1.5 and 2.0! Ninject 2.0 has been in beta for exactly one year and we are very happy to announce its release. You can download the binaries from the Ninject.org web site. Expect more posts here and on Nate’s blog with more information.

Over the next couple weeks we will be releasing the extensions projects based on the official 2.0 release for all available platforms. The 1.5 wiki is up and the 2.0 wiki documentation is in process including changes between the versions.

Nate has the official announcement out!

Excellent news! Been using Ninject 2 for the last 3 months and have to say it's an absolute pleasure to work with, keep up the good work.
  • Hey this is awesome, good work! Are there any examples or documentation for the Ninject.Web extension? BTW, good move by pull the extensions out of the core libraries...1.x was a bit daunting.

I will be doing blog posts on a number or Ninject technologies. Here is a simple example I found: http://bit.ly/cnbiry for the Ninject.Web extension. Although it is for Ninject 1.0, the api is the same for 1.5 and 2.0. I will be pulling the logging out of the extension though.

I was hoping that would be the case...I am sitting at my desk pondering whether to make a wrapper for the logging class I use that derives from ILogger or just scrap the PageBase completely.
